Negative emotions are an inevitable part of the human experience. Whether it's frustration, anger, sadness, or resentment, we all encounter these emotions at some point in our lives. While it is natural to feel these emotions, what happens when we hold on to them and fail to release them in healthy ways? The answer lies in the profound physical and mental consequences that can unfold.
Physically, harboring negative emotions can take a significant toll on our bodies. When we suppress these emotions, our stress levels escalate, triggering the release of cortisol, commonly known as the stress hormone.
